  5. Mar 2010 by Soan

Is gmail blocked on your office network and you have an important mail to check? Here is a workaround that may work for you:

1) Go to iGoogle.com.

For those who do not know about iGoogle, it is a google's concept in which you can create a home page for yourself. This home page can contain any gadget available in google's gadget library. A gadget is basicaly a small application which you can place anywhere on your iGoogle Page.

2) Sign in with your existing google account.

3) Once you sign in, you will be redirected to iGoogle home page. Click on 'Settings -> iGoogle Settings' or 'Add Stuff' in main menu. You will be redirected to google's gadget library.

4) Search for 'Gmail'.

5) The gmail gadget will appear. Click 'Add it now' to add this gadget to your page.

6) Now go back to your iGoogle page. You will be able to see all your gmail's in the gmail window that appears on this page.

7) You can add gtalk Gadget also in the same way.

Enjoy!!
