Have you tried the new Yahoo Mail (Beta version)? If not, then you should do it right now!! It is faster, better and more colorful than ever before.
The product is still in its beta version and would be rolled out soon to all Yahoo mail users. I have been using Yahoo mail for about 7 years now and simply love it.

Yahoo is asking its users to try the new yahoo interface by individually mailing and they seem to be doing it in phases. If you have not yet received the invite and want to try it, then follow the following steps:
- Go to following link: http://features.mail.yahoo.com/
- Click the "Try It Now" button.
- If you are already logged in to your Yahoo account, it will directly take you to your New yahoo mail interface else you would be asked to log in first. You might be asked to check "Agree" or "No Thanks" if this is the first time you are trying.
I personally found the new yahoo much faster and better organized. The new interface also boasts of new colorful themes that you can try (Select
Options->Themes from top left corner of window):
Also, there is now no restriction on the amount of mail you can store. Yahoo says that store any number of photos and files of any size and that too for free!!
If for any reason, you do not like the new version, you can always switch back to earlier one by choosing
Help->Return To Original Mail option from top menu.
Although, there is no specific browser requirements to access New Yahoo Mail but to reap the benefits of fast mail browsing you should use Internet Explorer 8, Firefox 3 and newer, Safari 4 and newer, or Chrome 5.
