In-Page Google Analytics Shows Analytics On Real Page

  12. May 2011 by Soan

Google Analytics logoGoogle analytics has added a new feature called "In Page Analytics" which allows you to see your web page in real time with their analytics. It is an amazing feature and allows you to view the click through percentage of links inside your page. Here is a sample view of am22tech.com:

In page Google analytics

The feature is still in beta at the time of writing this article but looks quite promising. It is so easy to see the links and their click percentage on the real page itself.

There are two ways of accessing this feature:

  1. You can see analytics of any of your web page by simply logging in to your Google Analytics account and going to section 'Content'->'In Page Analytics'.
  2. Log in to your Google Analytics account and then browse any of your website in any other tab of browser window. Google Analytics will automatically show you the analytics. You can opt to switch this off by clicking a 'close' button on top right corner of browser window.

  3. Using any of the above method, a vertical pane opens up (on left or right hand side of browser window) which shows the related metrics like page's Adsense performance, inbound sources and outbound destinations. The click through percentage and Adsense earnings through the clicks are also shown on the page itself (See the image above).

I found this feature an amazing idea from Google, what about you?
