The most common cause of this error on Godaddy email is the wrong setting of MX record.
For example, Your email might be hosted on Asia-Pacific servers, whereas domain is configured to use US based servers. Godaddy has different server addresses for each location.
So, to rectify the problem, You will need to modify your MX (Mail Exchange) Records to point to Asia-Pacific servers.
If you do not know the exact server location for your email, follow the following steps to let Godaddy set it automatically the correct value.
To Update Your MX Records:
1. Log in to your Account Manager.
2. In the My Products section, click Domain Manager.
3. In your list of domain names, click the domain name that contains the MX record you want to change.
4. On the Domain Details page, in the 'Related products' section, You will see the 'Email accounts' option. This will show the number of email accounts associated with this domain. There is a hyperlink 'Manage' against this option. click it.
5. You will now see all the emails associated with this domain listed on this new screen.
6. Click on the 'Server Addresses' option in main menu. This will open up a pop up which will list the server addresses (MX records).
7. if your server addresses are wrongly set, it will notify it here and give you an option of correcting the MX records.
8. If the records are wrongly set, choose the option 'Update The MX records for me'.
Thats it. Give the changes some time to reflect in the system and then try sending the mail again. It should work now.
