    Hi Anil Gupta,
I have recently completed my bachelor where my and my spouse working rights are 20 hours per week or 40 hours fortnight. I applied for 485 visa which is still on going process. I got my EOI and applied for subclass 189 visa. I got the Bridging visa which is active from 16th march. My Concern is that can i and my dependent work full time in 189 bridging visa.
second question i applied 189 soon after 485 is it correct because i got 2 bridging visa one from 485 and one from 189.

    HI,
Looking for 189 Visa. Senior Application Engineer applied for 261313 with 14 years and 09 months of experience and in PTE scored 10 points (65+ in all 4 sections). Date of Birth 28-07-1981. My husband also has same experience and applied in ACS and got the assessment. Got Overall score as 75.
    1) I have got ACS assessed as “comparable to an AQF Master Degree with a Major in computing” on Apr 30 2018
    2) I have got my doctoral degree(PhD) on may 25 2018
    3) I have updated my EOI with PTE score and doctoral degree(phD) on Feb 20 2019 (overall 75 points)
    4) Should I have to update ACS for adding my doctoral qualification and then update EOI with that ACS reference number or I have to delete my phd qualification in EOI till i get my acs assessed with dctoral degree.
(Likely to get the invite by April 11 2019) Is it mandate to update ACS with Doctoral degree?
    5) When can i initiate Police Verfication process?

Please suggest What can be done?

    • You should get ACS assessment done for your doctoral degree. You will need to prove it and the ACS report number in your EOI should match it.

You can initiate your police verification now if you are expecting invite in April 2019.

      • Mohammed Ali   10 Mar, 19 at 10:36 pm

        Hello,

Is this for visa 189? I assumed that draw happens on 11 March? Is this for 190 ?

        Please correct my understanding.

        • Its for 189 visa.
190 invites can be sent anytime by state. States do not follow the 11th day rule.

March 11 draw already happened earlier this month as i think there is holiday in Australia on March 11, 2019.

          • MohammedAli   10 Mar, 19 at 10:55 pm

Oh I have similar points and my EOI DOE is 19/2/2019 for same job code. I do not see any invite.

Does it take time to get notified?

            • May be your profile was not picked up. You can expect invite in next round then.

            • Hello
              Hope you doing well.
I have applied for Australian PR on 21st jan 2019. I am waiting for my EOI. i have apply under
              Software engineer 261313.

Is there any chances to get invitation in my case?

            • Anil Gupta   11 Mar, 19 at 7:45 am

You can expect to get invite for Software engineer 261313 with 70 points in Oct 2019 draw.

            • Hi Anil, May I know the reason behind this ? Just wanted to understand how your arrived Oct 2019 for Software engineer 261313 with 70 points.

            • Anil Gupta   13 Mar, 19 at 8:21 pm

Please opt for private consultation and then i can explain it in detail.

            • MohammedAli   10 Mar, 19 at 11:09 pm

              Anil,

Can you guess what could be the reason by any chance.

Moreover, since the email was received yesterday for him, do you think that it is closed for March month? Or I can expect in a day or so.

            • Mohammed Ali   11 Mar, 19 at 3:09 am

              Anil,

The reason for asking is that I was thinking that the EOI invitations has a pattern in which they are picked ie. based on the DOE. So, based on that what factors do you think has not worked in this case.

Any input from you would be helpful.

              Thanks,
              Mohammed Ali

            • Anil Gupta   11 Mar, 19 at 7:45 am

Applications are indeed picked up on the basis of DOE but there is a limit on the number of invites that are sent in each draw as well.
So, i am guessing that your applications was probably left due to the numerical limit.

            • Mohammed Ali   11 Mar, 19 at 9:21 am

              Anil,

Thanks for your input. I still have certain unanswered questions, the reason being the DOE for my EOI was19/2/2019 compared the one which I was referring to.

So, should I leave any hope of getting an email today or tomorrow? I guess yes 🙂

In this case, how about the next draw? Can I expect the invite?

              Thanks for all your help.

            • You can expect an invite in next draw.

Hi, How much you scored in English test

  6. Nikhil Anadkar   8 Mar, 19 at 8:01 am

    Hi Anill

    Hope you are doing well!

I am planning to apply EOI for Australia PR under skill immigration programme. Job code is 261314 (STSOL).

My question to you is ‘ while applying for EOI, past organisation reference letter is required, which should mention my skills and responsibilities. My previous organisations has denied to give me the same’. What should be done in this case?

I saw your article, which mentioned a letter from co-worker; how much chances I have if I apply using co-worker letter. Just FYI, my points are 80 as explained below:
    Age: 30, Experience: 10, Education: 15, English: 20 and Spouse: 5.

Your help will be highly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    Regards
    Nikhil

  7. Hi
Is there some thing called as Dept processing fee of AUD 50 along with the application fee 3755 to be paid ?

  8. Manphool Singh   7 Mar, 19 at 9:26 am

    hi Anil
I lodged my 190 visa application on 09-02-2019. My old HAP Id was due to expire on 26th Feb 2019 (earlier Visitor visa FA600). Now it got expired but I am not able to generate new HAP ID. It seems that only CO will generate it when my application will be looked in. And my case will get delayed for 2-3 months!!!
    Please share your thoughts.
    thank you

  10. Hi Anil,
I submitted an EOI today 6th March 19, for code 261111, with 65 points, 15 for age, 20 for English,15 for bachelor degree, and 15 for experience, can I expect to get an invite? If yes by when ? If no can I still increase my points to get more chance on the same EOI and how?
    Thanks

    • Anil Gupta   6 Mar, 19 at 1:53 pm

There is no realistic chance of invite for 261111 with 65 points.
At this time, only EOIs with 75 points are getting invite.

You can check more options to increase your points on this Australia PR points calculator.

      • Thank you Anil,

Is it better to submit an EOI for visa type 190? What’s the best option ? And should I do it now in parallel with the 189 or wait?
        Thanks

        • Anil Gupta   7 Mar, 19 at 9:09 am

You can file both 189 and 190 EOI using Australia Skillselect at the same time.
